Read Reviews Regarding Potential Wedding Vendors
Wedding vendor reviews are essential. Moreover, hiring the right vendor, whether it is the Justice of the Peace, Photographer, DJ, Venue, etc.. is crucial. Above all, these reviews can be found on popular wedding websites (Wedding Wire, The Knot, etc) because these vendors are an important part of your day.
The best price may not be the best quality. In addition, as my parents always say… “You get what you pay for!”
Join Some Facebook Groups
Firstly, there are lots of local online wedding groups. So, get into the wedding vibe. Join them and interact. One favorite is CtWeddingAdvice.
Secondly, do you want to buy or unload pre-loved wedding decor? Join the Facebook groups “CT Wedding Tag Sale!”, “CT Wedding Connection”, “CT Wedding Finds and Advice”, and “CT Wedding Exchange”. They all have a mixed bag of different types of posts regarding weddings… some from vendors, some from other couples. It’s fun to browse and connect!
Finally, don’t forget to listen to wedding-related podcasts. You’ll get great ideas directly from the experts or past couples. One favorite is The Be Engaged And Inspired Podcast.
Start Your Wedding Hashtag Now
Start now! This way you can garner a collection of photos from the wedding planning process all in one space! For instance, the engagement shoot, bridal shower photos, rehearsal dinner fun, various pics with your spouse or bridal party, and of course the wedding day! Make sure your wedding guests are aware of the hashtag as well!
To generate one now, search “Wedding Hashtag Generator” These are usually free. Or, create one yourself! Just check out the hashtag first to make sure no one else has it!
