They recommend live music to be performed outdoors where possible.

A mask is not required outdoors if you can keep 1.5 meters distance from others.

What happens if we need to postpone or (god forbid) cancel?

2020 was brutal for anyone working in the wedding industry and without job-keeper, many of us would have perished, unable to hold on.
I spent a year offering postponements without extra charge, sometimes up to three times per client, and the time, energy and loss of funds for me was soul destroying.
Of course I feel for my couples, it’s awful for you too, but I can’t continue to postpone (often popular) dates, reducing package sizes (when scripts are already written and work is done) and taking majority of the hit.

It’s just not sustainable anymore.

So in light of that, here’s my policy for 2021 and 2022

Firsrt tip, get onto doodle and invite all of your beloved suppliers to put in their available dates.
I cannot recommend this step enough, it ensures you bring everyone along with you for the future ride!

If you postpone to a future Saturday, there will be a $200 transfer fee.

If you postpone to a Sunday – Friday, there will be no transfer fee for the first time.
$200 will apply if we need to go again, as every time I give up a date, I lose money.

If you decide to cancel altogether; your booking deposit is non-refundable, as per my initial contract.
(Even though I haven’t married you, there have been hours of work completed behind the scenes and I can’t keep giving that away for free.)

If you need to talk about any of these options, please get in touch with me asap as there’s nothing more heartbreaking than receiving an email from clients with a new date set without consultation.

We’ve come this far, let’s finish the journey together!

Just remember, in the end, I’ll get you married and It. Will. Be. Fabulous!!!!!!
