Flynny and Jo’s ‘how they met’ story came out in a copy of Woman’s Day – and it wasn’t quite the same story he told us…
At the time Flynny was with his wife, and Jo was marrying her partner who she shares a child with. Jo and her husband were in high praise for Flynny’s celebrant service, and they remained Facebook friends since – though not in communication during that time.
However, one “lonely” night, when Flynny had separated from his wife and was living by himself, he saw Jo’s name pop up on Facebook. Knowing she had split with her husband a couple of years earlier too, he decided to have some liquid courage and message her on Facebook – which later led to actually catching up at the pub for their first date.
