Fall Floral Wedding Ceremony at Grand Gimeno | Jay’s Catering

Christina and her bridal party arrived at Grand Gimeno early to get ready inside the Powder Room at their leisure. The beauty bar was full of hair spray, makeup palettes, bobby pins, and more. The girls popped champagne in matching pajamas and eventually changed into pink bridesmaid dresses while Christina slipped into her lace wedding gown. Meanwhile, James and his groomsmen suited up inside the Parlor and toasted to a happily ever after. When it was time, the bride and groom met in the courtyard for their first look. Smiles filled both their faces when their eyes met, and sweet compliments were shared. The couple wandered around the venue posing for pictures and headed inside just in time to line up for ceremony.

A floral arbor marked the center of the wall where Christina and James would soon be standing, and a live band filled the room with romantic music. Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Once everyone was in attendance, James led the wedding party down the aisle ending with Christina. In front of all their closest friends and family, the couple read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Cocktail hour in the Foyer consisted of tray passed Crab Cakes, Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts and refreshing Old Fashioned and Paloma signature drinks. Everyone mixed and mingled inside and outside while the newlyweds took a moment just to themselves to soak in that just married bliss. After sipping and snacking, everyone checked the seating chart and headed inside for reception.

Tables were topped with tall candlesticks and floral centerpieces and the ceremony arbor was repurposed as the sweetheart table backdrop. Once everyone found their assigned tables, James and Christina made their grand entrances, shared their first dance, and took a seat. Dinner was served. Tequila Lime Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Green Beans, and Pear and Walnut Salad were unveiled at the buffet. The menu was selected be the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Sierra. Friends and family shared toasts and glasses clinked in the air after each speech ended. Meal service ended with a slice of Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, then everyone hit the dance floor. The evening ended with many photos to reminisce on and well wishes for the newlyweds.
