What a beautiful day it was for this stunning City Botanic wedding ceremony with our Celebrant Jamie Eastgate. Our white circular arbour farmed the couple perfectly for their Lilypond lawn ceremony.
Our luxe white circular arbour looked amazing with the lake and fountain in the backdrop. Our couple added fresh natives in glass jars on the aisle chairs, adding extra chairs so all their guests could be seated plus enough fresh rose petal cones for every guest to sprinkle over them as they made their way back down the aisle.

The ceremony began with the bride arriving and walking to the aisle through the stunning City Botanic Gardens accompanied by her 2 sons.

Jamie did an amazing job personalising the couples ceremony and sharing some of the qualities and quirks that drew them to each other. Here’s a little extract:
Matt says Liz always gives her all in everything she does, nothing is by halves when she is involved.
He sees her as the most thoughtful and considerate person, who is generous with her love to those who are close to her.
He describes her as genuine with her words of encouragement to lift all those around her and the most beautiful person inside and out, always quick to smile and share her fun.
He loves her sense of adventure and excitement and how they laugh so much together.
Knowing they share something very special together, together their lives are happy and fulfilled.
Liz loves Matt’s eternal optimism, his positive way with people and how he makes everything seem easy.
She admires his leadership and decisiveness and his sense of direction when driving. She has seen his strength of character and his gentleness and generosity with her.
She loves how he cares for her and her family and how he always includes her two precious Burmese cats as part of their tribe!
She describes life with Matt as fun, happy, and exciting! He is her best friend, he makes her laugh, and every day with him is a new adventure. What a special connection these two share.
After sharing their special vows, exchanging rings and signing their marriage certificates, Jamie sent the happy newlyweds back down the aisle together through a cloud of fresh rose petals to the cheers and applause of their guests.
What a fabulous celebration of love! The happy couple enjoyed a few quick photos in the City Botanic Gardens, so they could get back to celebrating with their nearest and dearest for their reception in the city.
